Job Interview

On Friday I have a job interview. I have my outfit picked out, I have researched the company and their clients and I plan on getting a good night of sleep. But, I am so nervous! This is a big deal for me, because this could possibly be my future after graduation. I wanna get this job, I think it will be a great opportunity to develop into a young professional.

List of things I am worried about:
stuttering
not having the right answer
looking like a sweaty mess
not being personable
going completely blank on a question

List of reason why I should get the job:
hard worker
loyal
goal oriented
personable
timely
neat
smart
committed
determined

My final thought - If it is meant to be then it will happen. :)

Resume

I just want to scream at the next person who tells me to change something on my resume. I do appreciate the feedback, but when I have one person telling me that they love it and the next saying it is okay, I get so frustrated. It seems impossible to please everyone with just one resume. At this point I should just make 10 of them.  With what ever resume I use I hope to be able to land a job with it, because that is the ultimate goal.

Starting Fresh After Graduation

Graduation is a month away and I don't know if I am excited or scared. Well I am a little bit of both. My biggest dilemma right now is finding a job in a town and state that I will be happy in. One day I think I want to stay in Tampa, and then the next day I am moving to Texas. I have never been to Texas and now I think I want to move there!? When I tell my mom stuff like this, she just thinks I am crazy. In my mind, the start of starting fresh in a new city is what I want. I know it will be difficult the first couple weeks, not knowing anyone, trying to make friends and getting to know the city, but I feel like I am to the challenge. I think it will help me grow as an independent strong woman. If I don't like where I move to then there will be no harm in going back to a town I am comfortable, whether it is Tampa, Lewes or Philadelphia. In my last month of college, I am going to to look into any city, and base my decision on where I get a job offer :)

About Jaclyn

"Life is like a game of cards. The hand you are dealt is determinism; the way you play it is free will."  -  Jawaharlal Nehru

I really like this quote, I have never heard of the guy who said it, nor is he is relevant to my life. I relate to this, because all my life I have dealt with obstacles and I look at them as a game; sometimes I loose and sometimes I win. I always go into the situation thinking I am going to win, but it doesn't always work out that way. When things don't work out for me, I focus on doing something that makes me happy.

Things that make me happy:
Family
Friends
Running
Sports
Reading
Netflix's
Movies
Social Media
Chocolate
Wine
Sleeping
Shopping
Working
Painting
Vacations
Concerts
Theme Parks
